Story

Yamcha and Puer come to a halt in front of Gokuu and Oolong and introduce themselves, telling the boy and the pig to hand over their money and capsules if they want to leave the desert alive. But Oolong suddenly recognizes "Crybaby Puer," while Puer recognizes Oolong as the pervert who was kicked out of Southern Transformation Kindergarten for taking the teacher's underwear. He also used to tease Puer. The two of them begin arguing, until Yamcha repeats his demand for valuables. Oolong asks Gokuu if he's strong, which Gokuu confirms, so Oolong tells the bad guys that Gokuu can take them. Yamcha begins drawing his sword, while Oolong tells Gokuu to handle them. Gokuu doesn't understand why, however, prompting Oolong to explain that Yamcha plans to kill them. Oolong then hides under the rock formation with the snoozing Blooma.

Yamcha begins swiping his sword at Gokuu, but Gokuu dodges him, pulls out the Compliance Staff, and comes down such that the two weapons clash. They break, and Gokuu then commands his staff to extend until it delivers a hard shot to Yamcha's torso. Puer is concerned, while Oolong is impressed that Gokuu really is strong. Yamcha then asks about that staff, so Gokuu explains that he got it from his late grandfather. Now Yamcha wants to know his grandfather's name, which Gokuu states is "SON Gohan," a name that is indeed familiar to Yamcha, and even Oolong. Yamcha then uses his Wolf Fang Wind Wind Fist to pound on Gokuu, sending him crashing through some of the rock formations.

Oolong decides to escape by turning into a fly, but Puer turns into a flyswatter and swats him down. Yamcha tells the pig to hand over his valuables now, so Oolong pulls out an M-size capsule. However, Gokuu suddenly rises from the rubble, complaining about being hungry, and challenges Yamcha to fight further. He hits Yamcha with a Rock-Paper-Scissors Rock, pokes his eyes out with a Scissors, and finally smacks him across the desert with a Paper. Yamcha quickly recovers and rushes toward Gokuu, who is now very weak from hunger. But Blooma suddenly wakes up, and when Yamcha spots her, he stops dead in his tracks and falls down. He and Puer quickly get back on the Jet Momonga and ride away, swearing they'll be back, while Blooma excitedly asks about that great man. Back at their hideout, Yamcha explains to Puer that he gets nervous around women.
