Batman: The Brave and the Bold Season 2 25-26, Season 3 1-4

One show I really fell behind on this spring was Batman: The Brave and the Bold, partly because I prioritized hour long shows first, and partly because Cartoon Network Video’s release schedule stopped making any sense. But now I’m all caught up again, and I’m here to share with you some sentence fragments that also don’t make much sense (even to me, when trying to decipher my own notes). I think there are spoilers in there, so be careful.

After this, there’s only one other TV show I might post about like this in the near future. But I might experiment with an entirely new TV rambling format over the summer, and if that works out, I’ll probably do that with everything in the fall. So, stay tuned, I guess.

3-1: Battle of the Superheroes!

  • Buttermilk, what.
  • Damn Red Kryptonite. But it was fun seeing Superdick.
  • What is that crazy bat armor.
  • Lois and Jimmy were fun too. And yay, Krypto!
  • Oh snap, super ventriloquism.

2-25: Bat-Mite Presents: Batman’s Strangest Cases!

  • Batboy & Rubin, wtf.
  • I love the Batmanga art style. It’s so 60’s. And Lord Deathman seems so Ishinomori.
  • Welp, Scooby. Oh god, 60’s Batman villains. And a shark repellent cape, aaaaaa.

2-26: The Malicious Mr. Mind!

  • Silly future dog guy.
  • Batman a kid, wtf.
  • Weird worm villain. What a jerk.
  • I don’t know much about Marvel, but it got to me the way the family broke up.
  • Oh god, those kid Batman drawings.

3-2: Joker: The Vile and the Villainous!

  • What the hell, Joker blew up Kamandi’s Earth!?
  • I love the altered opening.
  • This Weeper guy is weird.
  • I loved the ending with the crying and the laughing.

3-3: Shadow of the Bat!

  • Jungle Batman and Robin, what. And Bat-Gorilla?
  • Also a creepy Bat-Batman.
  • I loved Booster Gold and Blue Beetle fighting over the bunk beds.
  • Damn, the Sun burning everyone.

3-4: Night of the Batmen!

  • Old west Batman.
  • Oh man, Batman laid up in the hospital with nurse Martian Manhunter.
  • I loved all the replacement Batmen.
