Story

Gokuu asks Kaiou-sama if he knows, and he says that of course he knows, that's why he's called Kaiou. Kamesennin is amazed how even they can hear Kaiou-sama. Gokuu asks to tell everyone, since they can apparently all hear him. But first Kaiou-sama wants to say that they've all done well, and Gokuu says how shocked he was that Kaiouken didn't work so well. Kaiou-sama says he miscalculated the strength of that Saiyan named Vegeta. Kamesennin asks what they're talking about, and Kuririn says he'll tell him the details later. Kaiou-sama then gets out a little book and starts looking for the position of Planet Nameck. In Earth terms, it's 9045YX from the direction of SU83. Blooma freaks out when she hears 9045YX, and tells Kame-chan to take the wheel why she calculates that ("Ka-Kame-chan...?").

Kaiou-sama tells them that Planet Nameck once was a beautiful planet, but then there was some unusual weather and the people began dying out. There should still be some survivors, though. Kuririn can't believe it, and Yajirobe thinks it's hopeless. But that was a long time ago, and Kaiou-sama gets confused, and says he'll know if he tries looking up what the state of the planet is now. Karin-sama realizes Kami must have been the last one, and he escaped to Earth. He also says how Kami had forgotten, so he must have lost his memory. "He was quite a kid, with a sad past..." Yajirobe then asks why those Nameckians just didn't wish away the unusual weather with their Dragon Balls, and Kamesennin tells him the Dragon Balls can't grant a wish that exceeds the strength of their creator. Even Shenlong couldn't handle the Saiyans. Yajirobe thinks the Dragon Balls are worthless then.

Kaiou-sama then yells at them the news that there's still some Nameckians! A mere hundred, but they're prospering again! Everyone's excited, though Yajirobe doesn't like the thought of a hundred more people who look like Kami-sama. "Originally the Nameckians were a very peaceful race. Like your Earth's God was. Perhaps before he became God, he met up with some Earthlings, and their influence brought forth Piccolo Daimaou." Yajirobe agrees that there's lots of stingy people here. Kamesennin thinks the possibility of them bringing everyone back has increased. Blooma says they're all really naive; even if they know where Planet Nameck is, how will they get there? Kuririn says with a space ship, of course.

She says they're still so naive. "Even if we rode in a space ship containing the greatest engine Dad's ever built, do you have any idea how long it would take to arrive on Planet Nameck?" She knows: 4,339 years and three months. Even Kaiou-sama is surprised. But Kuririn suggests they use a Saiyan spaceship. Kamesennin says the Saiyan left with it, but Kuririn says the Saiyan who died's ship must still be around. Gokuu adds that his older brother also has a ship still here, but then adds it's all broken. Blooma says there's still one, and they can probably analyze it and use it somehow. Kamesennin says it's probably in East City, the first place they destroyed. They'll have to search for it immediately afterwards.

But then Kuririn reveals he has the little remote control that Vegeta had used to call his space ship. Blooma takes it and thinks this all really is possible, and everyone starts celebrating. And the next day, at West City's hospital... Gokuu's all bandaged up and lying in a hospital bed, saying he won't be healed for four months. Karin-sama says not to worry, as there'll be new Senzu in one month. Kuririn and Gohan are lucky and only have to stay patients for three days, and Kuririn says Gokuu looks like a mummy. Yajirobe is pissed that he's not a patient, and Karin-sama says his real goal is hospital food. Kuririn then tells how when Yajirobe thought he was done for, he apologized and tried to join sides with the Saiyan, and Karin-sama laughs as Yajirobe gets pissed. Gyuumaou is happy that everyone is okay and will be coming back to life, and then Blooma bursts into the room and says to watch the TV.

A dude on the news is saying how they've discovered this round object among the ruins of East City. He says it seems to have come from space, and they're able to ride in it. They all watch, although Gokuu can't see from his position. There were two, but one suddenly flew away. Kamesennin says the scholars have already found it, but Blooma decides to use the remote controller Kuririn-kun gave her. She starts pressing the buttons, and they watch on the TV as it...explodes. Everyone freaks out, and Blooma thinks she must've hit the self-destruct switch. Kuririn faints, and Gokuu thinks Kintoun won't work. Blooma yells at Kuririn about the strange remote control, and he says she was just rashly pressing switches. "Hey." Mister Popo is outside the hospital window, and the sight of him scares the hell out of Blooma. Kuririn recognizes him of course, and Popo says, "Someone come. There a spaceship."
